Three Men’s Fragrances We Recommend

recommended colognes and fragrances

I don’t know about you, but when I’m looking to purchase a new fragrance, the biggest challenge is the fact that so many of them seem to smell the same. It becomes a difficult decision because none of them really stand out from the other.

Now, your cologne is not something that everyone should notice. It should be subtle and should only be noticed when you’re in an intimate situation, but in those moments, you want something that can be recognizable and even memorable.

The following are three fragrances that we recommend that are distinguished and nicely sophisticated.

Tom Ford Noir Extreme

An extension of the original Tom Foir Noir, the Extreme version has undertones of vanilla, sandalwood and cardamon that (as the name suggests) brings a more intense fragrant sensation. The fragrance includes a blend of jasmine, rose and orange flower that makes it unforgettable to those who wear it and those who experience second hand.

MSRP – $115

Santal Carmin by Atelier Cologne

Typically, one looks for a fragrance that becomes a distinguishing scent for the individual. There are a million guys that smell like Armani’s Acqua di Gio, but it’s more of an exclusive club to carry the scent of Santal Garmin. Created by Atelier Cologne, it includes a spicy blend of sandalwood with a hint of lime and bergamont.

MSRP – $325

Dior Sauvage

Of the three fragrances, Sauvage is certainly the most well-known. Promoted by Christian Dior with actor Johnny Depp, one has to wonder who would want to smell like Jack Sparrow. But the thing is, it’s a great fragrance. Top notes bring a fresher scent with Reggio di Calabria Bergamot. Dior includes Ambroxan, which releases a more woody but clean character.

MSRP – $74
